This new release from Tom Ward at Swinging Bridge is the ancient variety Gamay Noir. A variety of rarity in Australia, the Gamay grapes for this wines come from cuttings from the famous ‘Loggerheads’ vineyard in the Hunter Valley. This wine shows the Orange Region’s cool climate influence on this light to medium bodied wine, with textural and complex flavours of red fruits and spice. Its natural, refreshing acidity and fruit purity.
